Sky Bet Championship club Brentford have completed the signing of Dundee United midfielder Ali Coote according to the Daily Record.
The 19-year-old Bedford born midfielder became a regular for the Scottish Championship club during the second half of this season and the player is rated very highly north of the border.
It has been reported that Sky Bet Championship club Brentford have completed the signing of Coote on a three-year deal and the player will initially link up with the West Londoners’ B Team with a view to breaking into the first team squad in the future.
The former Scotland Under-17 international was picked up by Dundee United when playing for junior side Tayport Thistle. The player was loaned out to East Fife to gain first team playing experience before becoming a more regular feature in the Dundee United starting XI.
Coote has gone on to make 20 first team appearances for The Terrors although the youngster did not score a goal for the club. The player was part of the Dundee United side which won the Scottish League Challenge Cup this season after beating St Mirren 2-1 in the Final.
The player is tipped to enjoy a bright future in the game and Coote will now aim to impress Brentford manager Dean Smith enough to be given an opportunity to impress on the first team scene.
