Bradford fans will know all about this fast left-back who was signed by Phil Parkinson as an understudy to James Meredith two seasons ago when he signed as a free agent upon leaving Manchester City.
Leigh earned plaudits from Bradford fans with his confident performances at the age of only 20 years old making six performances and scoring once. Leigh has since signed for Bury, making 27 appearances at left-back. With Bradford City’s German owners basing a model of signing young players and turning them into first-team regular’s, Leigh would be an ideal fit however, he would cost money.
With the departure of Billy Clarke generating financial income and add on fee’s from r ex-Bantams striker Nahki Wells promotion to the Premier League with Huddersfield Town, this could be a signing that would be well worth the investment.
