Derby County planning to sell their star youngster with Brighton and Watford interested

Derby County are planning to sell their star youngster Will Hughes with Brighton and Hove Albion and Watford now ready to swoop for him according to a report on Page 59 of the 11th June edition of The Sunday People.

Over the last few years, Hughes has been seen as one of the highest rated youngsters in the Sky Bet Championship. Even when he was a teenager he was able to put in shining performances for the Rams and attracted a lot of buzz in the early days of his career with some reports even suggesting the likes of Barcelona were interested in his signature.

That buzz has died off a bit since then with injuries delaying Hughes’ progress some what but he is still seen as a very talented player and is a key player for Derby. But even with him being a fan favourite after coming through the club’s academy, head coach Gary Rowett is set to sensationally make him available for transfer and is now willing to sell him to any team that’s interested, with this report suggesting there is a £3m valuation on the playmaker.

And with such a player being available, teams from the Premier League have become interested in him. Both Brighton and Watford are now looking into signing him as they aim to add more creativity to their team. However while it seems like it may be a straight face off between these two for the signing of Hughes, Arsenal have had a longstanding interest in him and may make a move for him.
