Jonny Howson (Norwich City)
Not every player on this article will be available as a free agent as sometimes you do have to spend some cash to get the best, and Howson would be that in the Championship. He has been an impressive performer for the Canaries during his time there and they do want him to stay at the club, but Howson has made it clear that he wants out and will not be signing a new contract. This is where Wednesday can come to sign a proven performer. It would not be cheap, Leeds United had a £4m offer rejected as they looked to take him back to Elland Road, but it would certainly be worth it.
