Garry Monk left Leeds United last week after just one season in charge at Elland Road.
In a statement, he said that the reason he left the club was because they couldn’t agree on a deal to keep him at the club, but could there be an ulterior motive?
He has been linked with a move to a number of clubs. We take a look at some of the potential destinations for the former Leeds United boss:
1) Middlesbrough: Since his resignation from Leeds United, Garry Monk has always been there or there abouts when it comes to odds for the Middlesbrough job. He emerged as a clear favourite in the days that following his departure from Leeds, and he could be exactly what the North East club are looking for. Middlesbrough have just been relegated from the Premier League, but with the parachute payments will have enough money to fall back on to build a squad capable of challenging at the top end of the Sky Bet Championship. Monk worked with limited resources at Leeds United and came close to the Play-Offs, but could he go one step further with Middlesbrough next season?
