Pontus Jansson has been nothing short of remarkable for Leeds United this season, and helped them to a seventh place finish in the Sky Bet Championship.
Jansson has been linked with a move away from Leeds United this Summer, with Premier League clubs such as Southampton rumoured to be interested in signing the Swedish central defender.
He has been recognised by Leeds fans throughout the season, but today (May 12), he has been recognised be EA Sports, and has been given a ‘most consistent team of the season’ card on FIFA 17.
These cards are awarded to the players around the world who have consistently put in class performances all season long, but have never been awarded an ‘inform’ card on the game.
Jansson’s card is an astonishing 87 rated, which makes him the highest rated card in the Sky Bet Championship, overtaking Anthony Knockaert’s player of the year card, which was 86 rated.
Jansonn has 68 pace, 55 shooting, 62 passing, 72 dribbling, 88 defending and 87 physical.
Fans have taken to Twitter to share their feelings on Pontus Jansson’s latest card to be released on the game:
This supporter said that the card is good enough to get him back and playing on FIFA again.

Pontus Jansson was not the only Leeds United player to be awarded a team of the season card. Striker Chris Wood was also given one, and this fan was thrilled with the news.
