Former MK Dons starlet wanted by Spanish giants

Mk Dons, along with Crewe Alexandra, have attracted a lot of positive press for their commitment to youth development.

Two of their former graduates have, in particular, made the spotlight.

Brendan Galloway has made a name for himself in the top flight, but most notably it has been Dele Alli that has attracted the biggest headlines.

His form for Tottenham, since his move in 2015, has been eye-catching. Now, that impressive form has seen him linked with Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

That is according to a report in The Sun, who claim that Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old.

MK Dons have received a lot of respect from fellow football fans for their commitment to youth development.

It is thought that MK Don’s would be entitled to a hefty sell-on profit.

The skillful midfielder originally moved to White Hart Lane for a £5,000,000 pound fee and is being tipped to follow in the footsteps of Gareth Bale. The Welshman, himself, moved from the Football League to Tottenham before making the move to The Bernabeu. At the time, of course, Bale was spotted whilst representing Southampton.

Alli, in particular, was crucial in MK’s promotion from League One to the Championship in 2015. He contributed 16 goals in 39 games for The Don’s and was the subject of interest from a number of Premier League clubs..

Following Alli’s departure, MK were relegated, from the Championship, in their first season at that level.

The sit 12th in League One going into the final four games of the season.
