Robins set to chase signing of Hull City defender

Rodgers is currently impressing during a short term loan spell with Sky Bet League Two club Accrington Stanley where he has made 16 appearances since the beginning of the New Year. The youngster is being watched by a number of clubs and should Bristol City fail to snap up the player in the summer, Norwich City, Barnsley and Rotherham United are all waiting to compete for Rodgers’ signature with those three clubs having scouted the defender in recent weeks.

The youngster has been with Hull City for a number of years after initially joining the club as an apprentice. Rodgers’ current spell with Accrington Stanley is allowing the player to experience first team football for the very first time with the defender having previously played Under-18s and Under-23s football with The Tigers.
