On Saturday afternoon, Norwich City secured three points at Carrow Road, against promotion chasing Reading, after an emphatic 7-1 win! Saturday evening’s win for Sheffield Wednesday against Newcastle United, sees the Owls replace Fulham in the final playoff spot. That result also means that Brighton remain at the summit of the Sky Bet Championship.
Bristol City earned a 3-1 home win, which saw them increase their gap from the drop zone to four points. Wigan Athletic’s 3-2 win against Rotherham United ensured they kept their gap from safety to seven points.
