Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has told youngster Ryan Sessegnon to ignore transfer interest from a number of Premier League giants and remain at Craven Cottage according to Metro.
The 16-year-old Roehampton born left back is tipped to play at the very top level after making a promising start to his senior career with Fulham.
Sessegnon made his first team debut for Fulham against Leyton Orient in the EFL Cup back in August and the player has gone on to make 18 appearances for The Whites, scoring four goals.
The youngster’s excellent displays have not gone unnoticed with a whole host of Premier League clubs having sent scouts to watch the teenager with heavyweights Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United most noticeably tracking the player.
Fulham are preparing themselves to receive a number of enquiries for Sessegnon in the summer with the defender set to land his first professional deal with the club in May. Despite the transfer speculation surrounding the player, Fulham boss Jokanovic has encouraged Sessegnon to bide his time for a big money move and continue to develop at Craven Cottage rather than become lost in the academy system of a top Premier League side.
Sessegnon could yet sample the Premier League while at Fulham with The Whites currently just five points behind sixth placed Sheffield Wednesday in the Sky Bet Championship table. Fulham also have the luxury of having a game in hand over The Owls.
