Former midfielders transfer to QPR ‘imminent’ after Italian experience

Twitter rumours are circulating that former QPR midfielder Raval Morrison is set to rejoin the club for a second spell.

Currently representing Italian side Lazio, Morrison is certainly no stranger to the English game. He regularly made media appearances for all the wrong reasons and found it difficult to settle anywhere as a result.

Now though, it seems that he has interested Ian Holloway and an announcement on the matter is said to be ‘imminent’.

Here is one of many Twitter updates that have surrounded the speculation:

Once upon a time, Morrison was well tipped for a strong future at his first professional side, Manchester United. He first joined them as a youngster and progressed through the club’s youth ranks. An alleged bad attitude was the reported reason why he eventually left them and he joined West Ham United in 2012.

A deal for Holloway to bring Morrison to the club is said to be ‘imminent’.

At the time of his arrival at Upton Park, he was described by then manager Sam Allardyce as: “A brilliant footballer. Brilliant ability. Top class ability. But he needs to get away from Manchester and start a new life”.

However, sadly for both parties, the same problems seem to be brought to the surface. Because of this, various loan spells followed, including his first spell at Loftus Road.

When he was sold to Lazio in 2015, he arrived in Italy as a free transfer under the Bosman ruling.
