Chelsea, Chelsea to make move for QPR man?

Chelsea to make move for QPR man?

A bizarre rumour if ever one has been reported but Chelsea may make a move for current QPR man Pawel Wszolek. He is currently on loan at Rangers from Hellas Verona.

Just when you thought Marcus Alonso could be the strangest move Chelsea have made in the recent past, here comes this link. A surprise to everyone, particularly, I’m sure, to QPR fans.

The Polish winger Wszolek, who has featured 13 times for Chelsea’s West London rivals so far this season, is rumoured to have impressed the watching eye of Antonio Conte.

He currently represents the Polish National Side and has done throughout the youth ranks.

Following a spell hopping between different youth teams, his first professional chance came with Polonia Warsaw. It is rumoured that because he had to move house to join Polinia, his mother had to take out a large bank loan in order to buy the winger a car.

His resulting eye-catching form for Polonia caught the attention of Italian side, Sampdoria.

However, despite initially beginning well with his new club, his chances of first team action gradually began to fade. As a result of this, he was loaned to Hellas Verona at the beginning of last season. Notably, he linked up with former Bayern Munich and Juventus man, Luca Toni.

A successful season saw him eventually join Verona permanently. A fee around £1.25 million agreed between the two clubs.

However, only a short while later he made his first appearance in the English game. Joining his current QPR side during last summer’s deadline day.
