Aston Villa owner Tony Xia teases fans

Aston Villa owner Tony Xia is known for his outspoken Twitter comments and earlier today, he was at it again. His latest bizarre equation seemed to hint that there could be three deadline incomings at Villa Park.

The Tweet by Xia which seemed to drop the hint:

The Birmingham-based side looks set to complete the signing of Swansea left-back Neil Taylor today. The defender, who has been a member of the Swans squad since they first became a top flight club, will complete his move in the coming hours. It is expected that forward Jordan Ayew will move to South Wales as part of the deal.

Villa also look set to sign Scott Hogan after it was revealed earlier that West Ham’s pursuit of the forward was all but over. The Hammers had been chasing Hogan since the beginning of the window, but these developments mean that The Villans look to be in the driving seat. It is expected that he will replace summer signing Ross McCormack, who has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Ross McCormack could be one departure on deadline day.

Another potential incoming could be Bury’s Jacob Bedeau. It is, however, thought he will be loaned back to The Shakers immediately.

As well as McCormack, Ashley Westwood looks like he may well have played his last game for the club. The former Crewe Alexandra midfielder has all but agreed on a deal with Burnley. The deal is set to land his former side, currently managed by David Artell, around £800,000.
