Fulham extend youngster’s loan deal

Sky Bet Championship club Fulham have extended youngster Ryheem Sheckleford’s loan at National League South outfit Wealdstone by a further month according to Get West London.

The 19-year-old Brixton born full back joined The Stones on a short term loan deal in November and the player has impressed Wealdstone manager Gordon Bartlett enough to earn an extension to his loan deal.

Sheckleford made his senior career debut shortly after joining Wealdstone and the player made a second appearance for the club in a 2-0 derby defeat at high flying Maidenhead United on New Year’s Day. Despite making just two appearances for The Stones, Sheckleford will now remain at The Vale until 8 February 2017.

The youngster is a product of the Fulham academy and the player signed his first professional contract with The Cottagers in summer 2014. Sheckleford is yet to make his first team bow at Craven Cottage however the player has impressed with the Fulham Under 18s side and with the development squad in the Premier League 2.

Sheckleford signed for Fulham as a 14-year-old schoolboy and has built a reputation of being a full back who possesses bags of energy to surge up and down the flanks. The player was a member of the Fulham side which reached the FA Youth Cup Final in 2013/2014 and Sheckleford is highly rated by the West Londoners.
