Norwich City receive £7m bid for star winger

Norwich City have received a £7m bid from Crystal Palace for Robbie Brady according to a report from the Daily Mail.

During the summer after Brady became one of the stars of Euro 2016 for the Republic of Ireland, it seemed like he was definitely going to leave Norwich after their relegation from the Premier League. However despite interest from the likes of Leicester City, he ended up staying at Carrow Road to try and help them return to the top tier of English football. However with the Canaries struggling in the Sky Bet Championship, they are currently 12th in the league, Brady may now think that he should be making a return to the Premier League with a another side.

And sides from that league have noted that this is a possibility with Crystal Palace making their interest more formal after this report revealed they made a £7m bid for the winger who can also play in defence. The Eagles need a new left back after Pape Souare was ruled out for the rest of the season after being involved in a serious car accident on the M4. Right now, right back Joel Ward has been forced to play at left but Brady would be able to fit into that role perfectly, though over the last few years he’s been playing more as a left winger.

However Norwich will be looking for more money than what Palace are offering. In the summer the Norfolk club were asking for at least £12m for Brady, and they are likely going to demand the same amount a few months later.
