Polish publication Gazeta Krakowska reports that four Championship clubs are interested in loaning Leicester City winger Bartosz Kapustka. Derby County, Nottingham Forest, Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers could all make their move for the Polish international.
The 19-year-old has failed to make a single appearance for the Foxes following his £7.5million move from Cracovia over the summer. The youngster caught the eye during Euro 2016, prompting Claudio Ranieri to make his move, however he has struggled to break into what is largely a fairly settled team.
Therefore, the player himself and also the parent club may be willing to allow him to head out to gain regular football to continue his development in the English game. The four clubs mentioned would certainly benefit from having a tricky winger in the form of Kapustka in their ranks.
In the case of Birmingham, Kapustka could play alongside fellow Pole Tomasz Kuszczak, whilst also handing Gary Rowett with a handy offensive option. Paul Lambert will be looking to stamp his own authority on his Wolves squad in January for sure, whilst Steve McClaren will be aiming to do the same with Derby County. Nottingham Forest have plenty of injury problems, and any additional signings would be most welcome. It remains to be seen which, if any, of these Championship clubs will ponce for Kapustka, or if an overseas club expresses an interest too.
The video below will give supporters of those Championship clubs a little teaser of who may be joining them in a few months’ time.
