It was confirmed early today that Paul Trollope had been sacked by Cardiff City.
Trollope lost his job after a poor start to the season, which has left the Welsh side 23rd in the Championship table.
Trollope’s final game in charge was a 2-0 defeat away at Burton Albion.
It’s not a sacking that has come as a shock to many Cardiff City fans, but everyone seems to have their own opinion on it.
Lets see how Bluebirds supporters have reacted on Twitter:
This Cardiff City supporter would like to see Neil Warnock take charge, and described Trollope as being “hopelessly out of his depth” at the club.
Trollope had to go. Nice bloke but hopelessly out of his depth. Neil Warnock in please 🙏 @CardiffCityFC #CCFC #Bluebirds #CardiffCity

The sacking of managers is an all too familiar feeling for Cardiff City supporters.

Paul Trollope “had to go” according to this Cardiff fan. He’d like to see Ryan Giggs in charge at the Bluebirds!

This supporter feels that Russel Slade was doing a good job at the club before he was sacked.
#CCFC can see now what a decent job Russell Slade was doing last season as manager , chopping + changing wasn't needed

It’s fair to say the optimism isn’t particularly high at the Welsh club right now…

This fan does sympathize with the former Cardiff City boss, and makes a dig at the board members.
Sympathise with Trollope, but something had to be done. Now lets see if our clueless board members make the right decision for once #CCFC

It seems like Cardiff fans understand the importance of the next appointment.
Cardiff City have to get this appointment right. No cheap options or the outcome could be dire all round #CCFC
