Leeds United’s game against Ipswich Town at Elland Road pits 15th placed Leeds against their 11th placed visitors from Suffolk, a team that did the double over the Whites last season.
Visitors Ipswich have lost only once in their last six matches, a return that has brought them 10 points from a possible 18 on offer. Home side Leeds have the same points return from their last six games, but with three wins and a draw, the Whites on a two-game Sky Bet Championship winning streak.
Today, a victory for Leeds United would put the Whites on 13 points, a total currently taken by Fulham in 9th place in the table. As well as giving the Whites a third league win in a row, it would also represent the first time in a long while that United had won four games in succession, if the midweek EFL Cup Fourth Round victory over Blackburn is taken into account.

One thing for sure is that Leeds will be looking for all 3 points to carry on their momentum. With a less than impressive start to their season hopefully (for the fans sake) well behind them, a win today may kickstart a real challenge for play off places, where a club as big as Leeds should be aiming for.
