Preston: Duo pen new deals

Preston forwards Jordan Hugill and Paul Gallagher have both signed new contracts with the Lancashire club.

Gallagher, who had previously enjoyed three loan spells at Deepdale, before making his move permanent in the summer of 2015; has agreed to remain with The Lilywhites until 2019.

He told Preston’s official website, that he had no hesitation in signing a new deal as the club has begun to feel very much like home to the former Leicester City player.

“I’ve enjoyed myself so far, I’ve had plenty of happy times here and hopefully there is a lot more to come and I’m looking forward to it.
“I’ve been here a lot of times on loan and I’ve always treated this place as my home and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it and it’s been a successful time.”
Middlesbrough-born Hugill has also extended his stay at the club until 2019. The player who represented Port Vale before joining North End in 2014, scored a 25-yard stunner as his side recorded their first home win of the season against Cardiff on Tuesday night.
