It seems like Sheffield Wednesday have a very clear weakness, they don’t like traveling on a Tuesday night.
It’s reasonable to believe that as just one week after suffering a humiliating loss to Cambridge United in the EFL Cup, they’ve been beaten by another team they would have expected to win, Burton Albion after losing to the Brewers 3-1.
Burton have shown some promise already this season and showed the Owls that early on when former Sheffield United defender poked home the opener after seven minutes. It seemed though like business as usual had resumed when Gary Hooper scored from the spot after an apparent tug on Sam Hutchinson’s shirt.
But then it was time for Burton to shine. Wednesday were sent into the half time break after Jackson Irvine gave them the lead and it was all sealed when veteran winger Lloyd Dyer smashed home from close ranger.
And after a testing week for Wednesday fans after Fernando Forestieri did the hokey cokey on whether or not he’d be staying at the club, they made their feelings known after the loss.

MK Dons, Charlton, Rotherham, Burton Albion. Quite apparent that Carvalhal hasn't figured out how to beat poor teams. Shocking loss. #swfc

I said at the start, i fear for #SWFC when we come up against a big physical direct side. Bannan, Lee, Wallace, Fessi etc arent the biggest
