As per Phil Hay’s article in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United have signed on Spanish winger Pablo Hernandez as the seventh signing to come into Elland Road this summer.
With Hernandez’s arrival from Al-Arabi on a loan-to-permanent deal, it is unclear as where the Spaniard will play or what formation Leeds United will adopt to accommodate his signing and arrival. Whilst a winger by trade, there are others saying that he will fulfil the #10 role at Elland Road – these include Phil Hay (below).
Hernandez is going to be Monk's number 10. He's 31 now but got through 35 games in La Liga last season, on loan at Rayo Vallecano.

With other signings said to be in the pipeline, with the names of Liam Bridcutt and Adrian Mariappa being prominent, you can forgive Leeds fans from reacting with glee as dark memories of previous transfer windows are beginning to be erased from the minds of Leeds United fans.
With the signing of Hernandez being spoken about a lot on social media over the weekend, it is understandable that Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to express their joy and glee at the Spaniard’s arrival at Elland Road.
