Garry Monk has certainly attempted to change the face of Leeds United with six new signings already this Summer, and a player who was already at the club has been full of praise for the work the new Leeds United manager has done.
In football management, Monk is rather inexperienced. He only had one previous job before he took the helm at Elland Road, and that was a year with Swansea City, but Leeds United’s forward Jordan Botaka was full of praise for his new boss.
In an interview with LUTV, Botaka said that the willingness of the coaching staff to work closely with each individual player was what has impressed him the most.
“They try to know every player individually. They’re really interested in every player and that’s something you don’t see often,” the 23-year-old told LUTV when he was asked what he found most impressive about Monk.
“I’ve been to many clubs and you can see that the interest is more in the players who would play more often. Now at Leeds, they really want to know everyone very well and they really want to work with everyone.”
Leeds United are currently on a pre-season trip in Ireland, where they will play Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers.
