Leeds United told how much they need to pay for Belgian winger

Leeds United have been told they need to pay £3m for NEC Nijmegen’s Anthony Limbombe if they want to sign him according to a report from Dutch publication Voetbal Krant.

The West Yorkshire club have been interested in the 21-year-old winger all summer but a deal that looked close to completion has become more complicated in recent weeks. NEC weren’t able to sign the replacement they wanted while other clubs such as Club Brugge and Toulouse have joined the race to sign him.

But now Leeds have been told very clearly what they need to do if they want to sign Limbombe. NEC have told them, and any team interested in the winger, that they will need to pay £3m or else he will be staying with the Dutch club. He has still got two years to run on his contract at NEC and they are only willing to sell if they get a good amount of money for him.

Leeds have already strengthened their squad plenty after already signing Kemar Roofe, Marcus Antonsson, Robert Green, Matt Grimes, Hadi Sacko and Kyle Bartley. However it remains to be seen if Limbombe will be joining them at Elland Road this summer.
