Cardiff City complete deal for loan striker

Cardiff City have signed Kenneth Zohore from KV Kortrijk for an undisclosed fee as confirmed by the club website.

The 22-year-old striker had been on loan with the Bluebirds since he signed for them in January and while the majority of his appearances came off the bench, he obviously did enough to impress the management at the club who have now signed him on a permanent deal. He has signed a three year contract.

While he mostly made substitute appearances, Zohore still impressed at times due to his pace and trickery and despite only having two starts to his name he was able to score twice. Now that he will be at the club until 2019, he will hope to get more starts and show why the club has decided to bring him back to the Cardiff City Stadium on a more permanent basis.

And as one striker joins the club, another leaves. Idriss Saadi is going the other way after he completed a season long loan deal with KV Kortwijk. He was seen as a flop signing after he only made two appearances for the club after signing for them last season, though this was mainly down to injury rather than lack of form.
