Ligue 1 forward joins Fulham for undisclosed fee

Fulham have completed their second summer signing in the form of Bastia forward Floyd Ayite. The Togo international signs a three-year contract at Craven Cottage, signing for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old can play all across the front line and should excite the Fulham faithful next season. He will now link up with his new teammates before they head over to Cork next week.

He began his career at Bordeaux but struggled to play too much in their first-team. He briefly moved to Nancy, before creating more of an impression with Stade De Reims in July 2011. After three years, scoring seven goals, he linked up with Bastia two seasons ago. He scored seven times in 33 games for the Ligue 1 club last season.

One of those goals came against Montpellier in January, the video of which can be seen below.

Ayite began last season in great form, scoring two in Bastia’s first two games of the season. He enjoyed a decent spell during the season where he scored five goals in five matches.

Slavisa Jokanovic is hoping to add even more new faces to his Fulham squad before they start the season. Michael Madl has already penned a permanent contract following a loan spell last season. They begin the new season away to Newcastle United on Friday August 5th.
