EURO WATCH: Free Agent winger claims Walescan hurt England

Hal Robson-Kanu has said in comments made to Sky Sports that his Wales side can really hurt England ahead of their match in Euro 2016 on Thursday.

Robson-Kanu, who became a free agent after he was released by Reading at the end of the season, has become a national hero in Wales after he scored a late winner against Slovakia which has put them on top of Group B.

But now thoughts must move on from that game and onto the next game which is an all British game against England on Thursday at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens, a massive game which could decide who comes top in the group and gets a favourable match up in the knock out stages.

Despite winning their first game, Wales are still seen as underdogs for the match against England but despite that, Robson-Kanu believes they can cause a shock against their rivals from over the border.

He said: “Preparations have already started. We’ve been in the gym this morning and our focus is very much on the next game,”

“I think everyone knows what England have with the quality of players they have in the team. We will be fully aware of what to expect.”

“Our approach won’t change. It’s always about what we can do, how we can affect the opposition.”

“I think if we implement that correctly, we definitely have players that will hurt them.”
