Liverpool offer goalkeeper to Championship clubs

Liverpool are looking to move on goalkeeper Adam Bogdan and have offered him around to several Championship clubs, according to The Sun.

Bogdan is now the third choice goalkeeper at Anfield and it is understood that boss Jurgen Klopp would rather he left the club.

The Hungarian has made only six appearances for Liverpool since signing for the club last summer and is now even further down the pecking order after Liverpool signed Loris Karius from Mainz.

Klopp wants Bogdan to leave the club, whether this be on a free or a long-term loan deal.  This could interest Championship clubs, with Bogdan having a lot of Championship experience.  The goalkeeper made 80 Championship appearances for Bolton Wanderers.

Bolton signed Bogdan in 2007 and he made his debut in a League Cup game in 2010.  Overall, Bogdan made 119 appearances for Bolton in all competitions before leaving the club for free last summer.

After a season of sitting on the bench, Bogdan will most likely want to play as much football as possible, which narrows down which clubs he could sign for.

Clubs such as Preston North End, who had more than one starting goalkeeper last season, may be more likely to sign Bogdan than Nottingham Forest, where Dorus de Vries missed only one Championship game.
