Hull

Match Preview- Hull V Brighton

Hull City face Brighton tonight at the KC Stadium in a huge game at the top of the Championship.

League leaders Hull will be looking to capitalise on Middlesborough dropping points at Leeds last night and have a 4 point lead over Boro. A win for the Tigers will also make them 6 points clear of joint 3rd place Burnley and Brighton.

Brighton will be looking to carry on their decent run of form. A win for the Seagulls would take them level on points with Hull. Chris Hughton’s men have won 4 on the bounce so will no doubt be tough opponents for the Tigers.

Brighton got the better of Hull at the AMEX earlier this season, winning a tight encounter 1-0 thanks to a Tomer Hemed goal. However, the two sides met at the KC Stadium in January in the FA Cup where Hull won this time 1-0.

Therefore, the two sides are evenly matched though Hull have only lost once this season on home soil, so a win for Brighton would be a huge statement of intent.
