Italian giants interested in Fulham star

Italian giants Napoli are the latest side to show an interest in Fulham striker Moussa Dembele, according to the London Evening Standard.

The Naples side, who are currently third in Serie A, have scouted the 19 year old on a number of occasions this season and are understood to be interested in securing his signature if he does not agree a new deal with Fulham.

Dembele is out of contract at Craven Cottage in the summer and has been heavily linked to Premier League giants Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Their is also said to be interest from Borussia Dortmund and Feyenoord, with both those clubs willing to wait until the summer to snap up Dembele.

This would be a blow to Fulham as they would lose a hot prospect for a compensation fee, which would likely be lower than what they could get for him in todays market.

However, if Dembele were to go to an English club, such as United or Spurs, the compensation fee would likely be much higher than if he moves abroad.

United have asked to be kept in the know about any developments on Dembeles future, whilst Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and their head of recruitment Paul Mitchell are said to be keen admirers of the young striker.

Dembele is currently considering the offer of a new four and a half year deal at Craven Cottage, although he looks increasingly unlikely to commit his future to the club.

The 19 year old, signed as a youngster from PSG, has scored 10 goals in 21 appearances this campaign and has impressed for Fulham, despite the West London outfit lying in 17th place in the Sky Bet Championship.
