Preston today managed to pull off a 1-0 win over Reading at Deepdale.
Joe Garner’s penalty in the 52nd minute was the only thing that separated the two sides, although both clubs had other chances to score throughout the game, including an effort from Adam Reach that rattled the post.
It was a solid win for the Lilywhites, who are now unbeaten in their last three games, picking up seven out of a possible nine points. They now sit in 16th place in the table.
The Preston faithful have come away from the game and wholly praised the efforts of the whole team for the result today on Twitter. Even some of the players took to Twitter to celebrate.
Superb win for us today closer to playoffs than relegation 👀 #Pnefc

Many praised the performance of MOTM Adam Reach, who had arguably his best game in a Preston shirt to date.

Preston will be hoping they can continue their current good run of form on Tuesday, when they once again step out at Deepdale and take on Birmingham.
