Leeds United: Rosler contacts LMA over email from Evans

Former Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler has contacted the League Managers Association about an email from current boss Steve Evans, according to a report by The Sun.

It is understood that Rosler has recently contacted the League Managers Association (LMA) over an email sent from Steve Evans to Leeds owner Massimo Cellino.  Evans reportedly offered his services to take over at Leeds United in the email, however Rosler was still in charge at the time.

This has prompted the German boss to contact the LMA as Rosler was sacked and Evans appointed as his successor on the same day.

It is understood that chairman Massimo Cellino is the person who showed Rosler the email from Evans.

As a result, Rosler has called for the manager’s union to publicly criticise Evans for the way he got the Leeds United job.

Since taking over at Leeds, Steve Evans is without a win in three games.
