MK Dons ground still a share option for Spurs

There is still an opportunity for Spurs to relocate to the home of MK Dons during their 1 year away from home, the Daily Mail understands.

The destination of Tottenham’s home could be at the Stadium MK for the 2017-18 season, as Spurs look to redevelop White Hart Lane into a 61,000 seater. Daniel Levy held talks with the club and the discussion progressed well after the two clubs are offhand to reach a potential agreement and finalising plans.

Although, Tottenham have always wished to stay in London and are keen to during their gap-year, the fear that moving to Stadium MK can dishearten the supporters love of their home town. Spurs have been interested in Wembley however there is fierce competition with champions Chelsea with their will to move there for their own stadium redevelopment.

MK Dons remain in the pursuit to try and rap up the deal which can potentially see their side gaining more popularity within the clubs fanbase – Spurs know that moving to Stadium MK is a much cheaper alternative than moving to Wembley, however it remains to be seen how the fans will react to it if the deal is successful.
