Forest take Premier League player on four-month loan deal

Crystal Palace are ready to let midfielder Jonny Williams join Nottingham Forest on a four month loan deal, according to the Mirror.

The Wales international will become the fourth Palace player to leave since deadline day when he joins Nottingham Forest on Tuesday. He is yet to play for Palace yet this term, opening the door for a move away.

Williams has experience in the Championship after playing at Ipswich Town on loan last season, as well as sporadic appearances for Crystal Palace in the league before their promotion to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old has totaled up 7 caps for Wales so far, and will be looking for first-team football to help his claims to add to that under Chris Coleman. He is under contract at Crystal Palace until 2018.

Nottingham Forest are thought to be looking for an attacking midfielder who can also play wide after the departure of Michail Antonio to West Ham, who they failed to replace on deadline day – with the club being under a transfer embargo.

Eagles boss Alan Pardew is looking to balance the books after the big money signings of Yohan Cabaye and Connor Wickham. Defender Paddy McCarthy and forward Sullay Kaikai are being rumoured with moves away to Wigan and Bolton respectively.
