Leeds United: Stuart Dallas talks ahead of Derby game

Leeds have signed a winger! No, not someone who will ‘wing it’ but an actual bona fide winger.

Those may not have been the exact words used when Leeds United announced the £1.3m capture of Northern Ireland international Stuart Dallas from Brentford but it was pretty much the sentiment that fans of the Whites felt at his signing. He had just come off of a solid season in 2014/15 for Brentford where the 24-year old scored six goals, provided two goal assists and averaged around 25 passes per game he featured in, at an accuracy of 75.4%. Pretty quiet in the opening games for Leeds United, the man from Northern Ireland provided a glimpse of his sublime ability with a neat nutmeg and shimmy that took two Sheffield Wednesday out of the game before he laid on a pin-perfect ball in for Chris Wood’s equaliser.
