Leeds United add new stadium partner

As reported on the club’s official website, Leeds United have added Gamezstation as an official partner of the club. This affiliation is due to start at the home game against Sheffield Wednesday (August 22, 2015) with the rationale that the move will enhance the matchday experience.

Gamezstation will be installing their ‘Gamezstation Pod’ in the Family Area’s East Stand Concourse’ where there will be four big screens, each one allowing children to face off against each other on FIFA. The ‘Pod’ games will only be available before kickoff and during half time and will consist of FIFA games of four minutes duration.

The partnership between Leeds United and Gamezstation is something that excites Scott Deighton, co-owner of Gamzstation UK who is hoping to build on the success of the Gamezstation Bus that was present at the recent 2015/16 kit launch. He went on to say,

“I’m delighted that we will be linking up with Leeds United throughout the new season.” Scott Deighton, Leeds United website – July 29, 2015

The ultimate aim of the venture is to enhance the overall matchday experience at Elland Road and provide an added layer of fan engagement at the club.
