Leicester join race for Wolves man

Bakary Sako is now a target for Leicester City, according to the Express and Star.

The player is out of contract this summer and he has been attracting interest from several clubs due to his superb performances in the Championship last season.

Everton have also been tracking the 27-year old and it was believed that they were in pole position to sign him.

However, Leicester have put together a better offer for the Mali man which is more to his liking and this offer could very well see him join the Foxes instead.

Wolves have reluctantly accepted that Sako is on his way, with his wage demands being too much for the club to afford. He wanted double his current wages as part of any new deal and Kenny Jackett is unwilling to pay him so much.

With his contract up at the end of the month, it means that any team would be able to sign him on a free, which is good news for any potential suitors.

He has attracted a lot of interest and with Leicester the latest to enter the race for Sako, it looks like there could be a big battle for his signature this summer.
