Chelsea starlet drawing attention from Brentford and QPR

According to Shoot magazine, QPR and Brentford are in the hunt for Chelsea youngster Kenneth Omeruo in the hopes of securing a season-long loan of the player.

The 21 year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan at Middlesbrough and played 22 games last term which saw the Boro reach the Championship Play-Off Final.

Starting his youth career with Belgian side Standard Liege where Omeruo was situated for three years, he signed from Premier League Champions Chelsea in 2012.

After being immediately loaned out to Dutch outfit ADO Den Haag, Omeruo then spent a further season in Holland, racking up a total of 38 appearances during his two year spell with Den Haag.

An experienced international with Nigeria despite his young age, since making his debut as a 19 year-old the defender has already got 28 caps for the Super Eagles and was a key part of the squad that won the African Cup of Nations in 2013.
