Fleetwood seal Sanogo deal

Fleetwood have made Vamara Sanogo their third signing of the summer.

The 20-year old spent some time on trial at the Cod Army at the back end of the 2014/15 season and played in four development games during his time there.

Bosses were clearly impressed with his performances as they have now decided to sign him on a permanent basis.

Fleetwood manager Graham Alexander is clearly pleased to be signing the striker, as he told the club’s official website:

“He did really well towards the tail end of last season when he was on trial. He had already been on trial at a couple of other clubs at a higher level. He is a young striker who is a bit unknown, but he is very powerful, very quick and direct who wants to get involved with people and cause defences problems.

“We liked what we saw and we offered him a contract towards the end of the season, and we got him signed up. He’s gone back to France for the summer, but he is someone with a lot of potential and we are happy he will be joining the Club. “
