Blues Keen On Ipswich Winger

Paul Anderson has been linked with a summer switch to St. Andrews.

The 26-year-old winger is out of contract in the summer and has not yet been offered a new deal.

Anderson will not be short of clubs to move to, with Fulham and Wigan also linked with a move. Anderson has found himself on the bench in the second half of the season, though he did score in the first playoff semi-final against Norwich.

Anderson netted 7 times for the Tractor Boys, a decent return from 71 games, which has captured the eye of Rowett and his team who are thought to be keen on bringing him to the club. Ipswich fans are not so keen to see him leave and have set up a petition to offer him a new deal.

Coincidentally, Anderson joined Ipswich in a swap deal involving enigmatic forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, who is also out of contract and has been linked with a move to Blues.
