The club captain and another player Preston to need to hold onto during the transfer window. Clarke has been a rock in defence for the Lilywhites throughout the season, contributing 109 clearances and 6 blocks in his 51 appearances.
He is one of the main reasons why Preston conceded so little during the 2014/15 season and he is a reliable brick-wall at the heart of the defence most of the time.
Simon Grayson needs to make sure he keeps his captain over the coming months.
