Preview: Bolton vs Birmingham.

Bolton have won only one of their last eight games. Their only win since mid-March was 3-0 at Cardiff on 6 April. Bolton boss Neil Lennon is still without a number of senior players including Matt Mills and Max Clayton, both are out with ankle problems. This game could also be the last for Adam Le Fondre, who is on loan from Cardiff. Lennon has said that he wold like to keep Le Fondre but an offer has not yet been made. Bolton’s Dervite will be missed in this game as well due to the Trotters’ last game against Bournemouth. Dervite made a bad challenge which resulted in him being shown a straight red.

Birmingham will be without injured on-loan Wigan defender Rob Kiernan yet again. On the bright side club captain, Robinson, has signed a new one year contract. He has, however, not played since his sending off against Bournemouth on Easter Monday. The Blues have lost only one of their last five games. Their only defeat since 6 April was 1-0 at promoted Watford on 18 April.

Bolton are sitting 9 points behind Birmingham but have had a new lease of life under former Celtic boss, Neil Lennon; both teams will be hoping to win this game, seeing as it will be their last this season, and they will be hoping to go out with a bang. Prediction: 2-2
