, 5 things we learned about the Championship this weekendAs cynics spoke out over an apparent lack of grit from the Derby side they certainly put down a marker to the rest of the division with their win over Wolves. Playing in the lunchtime kick off gave the Rams the chance to put the pressure on the sides in and around the top six and they delivered. It took just 16 minutes for the deadlock to be broken and from then on it was all Derby. Four further goals cemented a dominant performance and back-to-back wins to take the Rams top of the division going into the international break. With Watford and Middlesbrough to come in their next four league games, it is a chance for Steve McClaren’s side to pull clear of the pack.
