Jake Forster-Caskey – Brighton

Jake-Forster-Caskey-Training-24JAN13-PH-FZ9Q1735Another talented midfielder, Jake Forster-Caskey announced himself to the Championship last season with a slew of impressive displays for Brighton. His talents have also caught the eye of England U21’s manager Gareth Southgate, who included him and his team-mate Solly March in his squad for both the qualifier against Wales and the 2014 Toulon tournament.

Forster-Caskey can play both behind the strikers and in a more reserved role but has stated that he enjoyed playing further forward for the under-21’s. He’s clever, not afraid to put a foot in and displayed his shooting ability with a wonder goal against Doncaster last season. With a new manager at the helm and several other talented young players around him, Forster-Caskey is in the ideal situation to continue his growth into a fine young English player.
