Viviani deal ON; Leeds make their signing.

According to Leeds United chairman Massimo Cellino, they have finally got their man on loan from Roma in Federico Viviani.

The midfielder who is highly rated at Roma according to Yorkshire Post journalist Phil Hay has now joined Leeds United after Cellino changed his mind on the player after ‘differences’ were sorted out today in talks over the phone.

Viviani who is Roma’s number 92 has made 6 appearances for their first team since 2011 as well featuring for Italy at under 21 level in which he has played 10 games and scored three goals.

Viviani also was called up by ex-Italian manager Cesare Prandelli previous to the World Cup (which finished little over 2 weeks ago) back in March. This was to have a look at some of Italy’s younger talent despite Viviani not actually making the senior squad for the World Cup.

The defensive minded player is renowned for his ability to play in the holding role in front of the defence and is highly rated on his ability from dead balls, commonly known by the fans in Italy of the clubs he has spent time at as a ‘free-kick specialist.’

It is unknown any further details as of how long the loan spell will be for after this saga has rumbled on now for the past week, it will be hoping to be finished very shortly.
