Over the last two seasons both Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt have made the step up into the first team and have been two of the stand out players in their opening seasons. Chris Dawson made his breakthrough under Neil Warnock, but did not make an appearance last season. Lewis Cook and Jake Skelton were both called up for the tour of Italy and will be hoping to make an impact in the coming season. Lewis Walters and Charlie Taylor will also be pushing for more game time. But the main man for next season could well be Dominic Poleon who will have big shoes to fill after Ross McCormack’s departure.
