Marcello Trotta
Marcello Trotta has been on loan at Brentford for the last two season from Fulham and will, of coarse, be remembered for the infamous penalty miss against Doncaster Rovers at the end of last season. However, his commitment to the cause won most Brentford fans over last season and his goals were instrumental in the Bees’ promotion push and he scored the winner in the promotion crunch game against Leyton Orient. These factors have meant many Brentford fans have been calling for him the return permanently. It has been reported that he has handed a transfer request into Fulham so he may be a Brentford player before the transfer window slams shut.
