Cherries set to sign Wilson

Bournemouth look set to sign Callum Wilson from Coventry City according to the Daily Mail.

After the sale of Lewis Grabban to Norwich and receiving money from the Adam Lallana transfer to Liverpool, Bournemouth had enough money to lure the striker in terms of wages having already proposed a deal to Coventry for the striker. With Grabban leaving, Wilson’s similar qualities to Grabban would make him an ideal fit into the gap which Grabban has left. Wilson’s pace, eye for goal, quality finishing and ability to bring other players into play will be brilliant for the Cherries with such high calibre players such as Matt Ritchie alongside him in the team.

Eddie Howe has reportedly held successful talks with the young striker who now looks like his transfer to the Dorset club is imminent. The Daily Mail reported that he was “convinced by Howe that he will continue to develop at Bournemouth”.

The transfer if the deal is successful and personal terms are completed is likely to happen within the coming days and Wilson looks set to sign a 3 year-deal.
