3. No stranger to the game.
You can hardly argue that David Hockaday is a stranger to the game. With an extensive playing career, as well as a wide variety of back-room coaching roles, he knows how the game is. His playing career has consisted of making 245 appearances for Swindon Town, whilst he scored 24 goals in 147 appearances for Blackpool. As well as his playing career, he’s had experience in coaching. His coaching career has taken him from Watford, then to MK Dons, Leicester City, Southampton and Cheltenham Town.
