There were some impressive performances this long weekend but it was very difficult to look past the Wolves striker who netted his first hat-trick of his career. He also unselfishly squared the ball to Kevin McDonald for Wolves’ sixth goal and he really stood out in the 6-4 victory.
Wolves fans will be delighted that Kenny Jackett managed to outmuscle Rotherham in the transfer window to sign the 21-year-old who has scored 16 goals in League One this season, including 5 for the Millers. They will also be hopeful that he can make the jump to the Championship with ease as his goals will be important as the club try and re-establish themselves in the division next season.
