Colin Daniel – Mansfield Town
His first goal for the Stags, Colin Daniel showed just how to hit a free-kick with his goal in a 1-0 win against Morecambe. A rising drive from around 25 yards flew past the Shrimps’ keeper in a feisty affair at the Globe Arena.
The win kept Mansfield’s slim play-off hopes alive but a lot of results will have to go their way to gate-crash the end of season party. It’s still a positive season for Paul Cox’s men who were flirting with relegation earlier in the season, they’ll be happy just to be as far away from the trapdoor as they can.
